Artist's statement:

"I do not work from a specific area and my work purely evolves from experience and looking and feeling. Especially relating to the 'The Last Of The Stone Pines' as I am so aware of how we are losing these beautiful trees."

Biography:

Born Williston CP, studied music at the Conservatorium Stellenbosch. After obtaining a Teacher's Diploma, she taught in the Republic but mainly in Rhodesia. On returning to Cape Town in 1963, she stopped teaching to devote more time to painting.

1966 - 1968   Studied graphic techniques with Kevin Atkinson. Lives and works in Wynberg where she has a studio at home.
