The Swartberg Mountains close to Prince Albert is 250 million years old and the Karoo is one of the worlds richest archaeological sights. Both the diptychs Object # 1 and Object # 2 combine an image of an imaginary object, inspired by fossils with a panel of patterns, the making of which again plays with the idea or experience of time.
