'Our website has just undergone an exciting revamp,' says Rose, 'with the aim of providing an extensive archive of both leading and emerging, contemporary South African artists - as a service to our clients and readers.'

'We have introduced a new, revised Artists' Section, where a complete alphabetical list of our artists can be easily accessed. Each artist has a dedicated page, with thumbnails of a selection of their artworks in stock. Each thumbnail links to a larger image, with full cataloguing'.

'We will also be featuring regular online exhibitions on a particular theme or a selected artist's work, with a full palette of works on hand, plus extensive information on the artist, including a biography, artist's statements and critical reviews'.

Since its inception in 1992, Rose Korber's annual Art Salon has become one of the highlights of Cape Town's visual arts calendar - a yardstick of where contemporary art is going in this country.

Currently celebrating its 16th anniversary, this is a Salon with a difference as the venue has moved to the more intimate surroundings of Rose Korber Art at 48 Sedgemoor Road, Camps Bay, Cape Town.

According to Korber: "This year's Art Salon - in a more intimate venue - has a more focused selection and is more directed towards the demands of the contemporary collector than ever before".

The exhibition runs until Friday 13 January 2008. Viewing hours: 10 am - 7 pm daily.
